I was employed at the Thom McAn shoe store at the Springfield Mall in Springfield, Virginia, in the late 1970s. Whenever I collected my meager earnings, I would visit the record department at Korvette’s (located in the same mall) to buy LPs. If I recall correctly, Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) by The Rolling Stones and The Byrds’ Greatest Hits were my first purchases, and I have added to this reservoir ever since.
A fine collection of 488 LPs, CDs, and box sets, some of which are quite rare. All have been well cared for, and most of the vinyl is cased in Mobile Fidelity deluxe sleeves.
